Pre-Storm Lockdown
Guards help secure the property before landfall: checking doors and shutters, documenting conditions with timestamped photos, and staying on site or staging nearby once the area is safe to return to.
When a hurricane hits Pensacola, Destin, Panama City, or the Gulf Coast, the damage is only the start. Freedom Security Solutions deploys local guards to lock down properties before landfall, keep looters and trespassers out after the storm, and run fire watch while damaged systems are repaired.

After the storm passes
Once a hurricane passes, the power is often out, alarms and cameras are dead, and doors, windows, and fences may be damaged. Owners and staff may not be able to get back for days. Police and fire crews are busy with rescues and road clearing, so damaged properties sit unwatched.
That is when theft, looting, and squatting happen. Our guards fill the gap until your systems, staff, and perimeter are back. They work with adjusters, restoration contractors, and utility crews so recovery work keeps moving.
Hurricane security services
Guards help secure the property before landfall: checking doors and shutters, documenting conditions with timestamped photos, and staying on site or staging nearby once the area is safe to return to.
Blown-out windows, downed fences, and dead alarms make damaged properties easy targets. Uniformed guards and patrols deter looting and keep out people who have no business on site.
We run check-in points so adjusters, restoration crews, roofers, and utility workers get in while everyone else stays out, with a log of who entered and when.
Power loss and water damage often knock out sprinklers and fire alarms. NFPA-compliant fire watch keeps buildings legally occupied and covered until systems are restored.
Emergency fire watchJob sites lose fencing and lighting in a storm and hold materials and tools worth stealing. Guards cover the site until crews return and the perimeter is rebuilt.
Construction securityDaily activity reports and photo logs show the property was protected after the loss, which supports your claim and answers the question adjusters always ask.

Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties
Hurricanes Ivan (2004) and Sally (2020) showed how long Pensacola properties can sit damaged while repairs wait on crews and parts. We cover downtown commercial buildings, the waterfront, Pensacola Beach, and industrial and port sites along the bay.
Okaloosa and Walton Counties
Condos, vacation rentals, and resort properties along Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa Island, and 30A are often empty after an evacuation. Guards and patrols protect units, amenities, and parking until owners and staff can return.
Bay County
Hurricane Michael (2018) left Bay County rebuilding for years, and it made clear how much theft follows a major storm. We protect commercial, multifamily, and construction properties from Panama City Beach to Lynn Haven and Mexico Beach.
Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, and Sarasota Counties
After Helene and Milton in 2024, Gulf Coast properties dealt with storm surge, long power outages, and impaired fire systems at the same time. We provide site security and fire watch from Clearwater and St. Petersburg down to Sarasota.
Tampa Bay fire watch →As early as possible, ideally once your area is inside the forecast cone. Guard demand along the Gulf Coast jumps in the days before landfall, and properties that book early get staffed first. We can line up coverage to start as soon as it is safe to return.
No. We do not keep guards on site during dangerous conditions or in mandatory evacuation zones. Coverage stops before the storm arrives and resumes as soon as local officials allow access, which is when most looting and theft happen.
We provide hurricane and disaster security across the Florida Panhandle and Gulf Coast, including Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, Navarre, Fort Walton Beach, Destin, 30A, Panama City, Panama City Beach, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Sarasota.
If a hurricane impairs your fire alarm or automatic sprinkler system, contact your local fire marshal or other Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) immediately. Fire alarm and sprinkler impairments are evaluated under different requirements; the required response can also depend on the system, length of the outage, and type of occupancy. Your AHJ may require a fire watch, evacuation, or other temporary safeguards until the system is restored.
Yes. Our guards keep daily activity reports with timestamped photos. That record shows you took reasonable steps to protect the property after the loss, which insurers look for when they review a claim.
